I appreciate your feedback and support. However, "Blue Book" is not really a factor when it come to collectability. Most collectors do not even need a "Loan Value" when considering a new acquisition. Besides, I'm in no real hurry to sell. I love the truck! I just need something that will haul a house on wheels, not Azz!!

Cheers and Happy New Year!!

You never know I bet someone will give you 35k just might take some time. I'm not trying to say your wrong or anything good luck with your sale.
So if 35K "SEEMS a little high"... what is the right price IYHO? That is for a truck in the top 3% for condition and Provenance

I'm no expert at all guess I'm speaking in my opinion. My view is that these trucks are not that rare and are over priced but like I said thats just my view. Not sure maybe 28k but I'm sure you will sell it for 35k to the right buyer

Your truck is exceptionally clean! However having 40k miles takes it away from a collector more than likely. Some will say it should bring 35k but realistically I'd say 25k max. I've bought and sold dozens of these trucks from 5k miles to 120k miles and that's JMHO.

It all depends on how bad you want to sell really. Your truck being that clean someone will pay 25-28k for it. It may take 6 months to get that just hard to tell.

Thank you for your feedback. Exceptionally clean, yes. It is also exceptionally maintained. No corrosion or road slop either. Also, since when did an average of 3K per year in mileage become high?
I honestly feel it's best to drive them than to let them sit. Of course I avoid all the hassles of inattentive drivers and the high volume of them by running it early on Sunday mornings Additionally, I feel that the high quality and expensive B&B exhaust along with the few other "Unobtainium" bolt on's in conjunction with retaining and preserving all stock components add value to the overall package.

Yeah, I'm in no hurry, besides, there are 6 Car Auctions here in Scottsdale in the next month. It's a good time to have it out there.

Happy New Year!

I literally just looked it up on KBB. Now I'm not saying this is the holy grail as we know there is definitely some flexibility in price when something truly is exceptionally maintained, but in "very good" condition KBB has it at $22,300, and in "excellent" condition it has it at $23,500. I think an honest price for your truck is somewhere in the mid $2X K range. I wish you could have seen the truck I let go this past summer with only 26K miles on it. It was immaculate and I sold it for $23K. In regards to the auctions, unless you have the ability to set a reserve on your truck save yourself the heartache and don't do it. I agree with everything that Kyle has previously mentioned.

The Venomous1 Quad Cab sold last year for $23k with 155k miles! Highly modded but NA. Very well kept as well. You need to sit on your asking price imo

Even though I appreciate your feedback, I'm still not sure why you keep referring to the "KBB pricing". A buyer for my truck will not need financing for the most part. If they do, then they are buying too much truck in this category. Have you reviewed the price range Nationally on RC's with varying conditions and mileage? I'm by far not the highest priced. However, I may be the cleanest and well represented example available regardless of mileage, with VERY nice add on's that do not detract from value. If anything, they ADD to it.
Also, I will not be taking it to the Local Auction(s). However, the buyers will be in town and always look around outside the auctions.
I'm sure the truck you sold last summer was a nice example. However, was it in the same category as the one I'm selling? Did it have the pinnacle, highly sought after exhaust system installed by the manufacturer? Was the overall package of high value, aesthetics and function? Just curious really.

Thanks again and Cheers!

But these are rare vehicles. If you bought a crate engine you would spend about 13k - I would NOT sell it for what the so called blue books state, I don't see how they are pricing them so low considering the limited numbers produced and the engine/etc. YES they are out there, but caveat emptor ............

Nice truck. It's too bad that you are selling it. I just bought mine a couple of months ago and I live in Mesa too.
