NICE! Good to see an "unobtainium" B&M hit the classified's. I still have mine. It was in the truck for a few thousand miles before I got the JTSVP Gen II. It's still like new and in the original box.
Overall I feel this shifter is the best choice between the mushy stocker and the rigid Gen II. Biggest reduction in throw (close to 2") over OEM and no issues getting into reverse. The Gen II drops the throw "almost" another 3/4" at the cost of getting into reverse easily. The adjust ability is nice and dramatically reduces the dreaded 2-3 miss shift with spring tension. However, if you utilize proper shifting "arm position" techniques, you will not miss the 2-3 shift with the B&M either Gen II also transmits more gear noise through the handle. Speaking of handle?!? You MUST use the rusty JTSVP handle. My Cherry Performance handle did not fit. It will on the B&M

GLWS I'll be watching how this goes

Cheers!!

A ridiculous offer for a ridiculous asking price.

Try again.

Please, tell everyone where you can buy one of these shifters new. If you can, how much? Even nicely used and "un-obtainium" brings an extra value to a great add on component.

Indulge us

Stop making a better than stock but not much better than most performance shifters a glorified object. It’s not. Get yourself a JTSVP and save yourself some mark up on an ok shifter.

I would surmise you did not read my post. I own both the B&M and JTSVP Gen II shifters. They both have their + / -. The B&M is a GREAT upgrade from stock that is very driver friendly and allows any handle you choose to fit. Vast improvement over the wet noodle factory Hurst. If you want the ultimate precision shift with an additional 5/8" reduction in throw and adjust-ability, the Gen II is also GREAT. However, getting into reverse is a bit tenuous until fully warmed (expansion to engage reverse lock out switch) and you can only use the supplied JTSVP handle
The Gen II also transmits more gear noise due to design (not bad) especially with the bronze cup in place of the factory nylon cup.
I would say both shifters have equal value to any RC driver depending on taste.
Anyone who eventually buys my truck will be the lucky owner who will have all three shifters to choose from in addition to so many other costly "niceties" in conjunction with all the stock and extra stock parts

Cheers!
