Heating problem solved

I have written about the heating problem I have had here in Texas, running at 75 mph at 97-101 degrees outside I had to slow down or turn on the heater for a short distance to get the temp below 200. Well, I used the ingenuity that made Texas so great in the job creation category and installed the fans seen below. I know the hatred of added weight but 3 pounds verses the chance of scorching the engine was no trade out at all. I also realize I could slow down but that would be defeating the whole reason for buying my beast in the first place.

Awesome. I need to do that also, this South Carolina sweatbox weather is not good for any engine. Where did you get the fans?

Did you just hook them to a switch? My truck is always right at 200 degrees. sometimes goes over when im stuck at a red light with A/C on. Just figured its normal when its 115 out.
