Tr6060 swap

Just curious has anybody done this yet? I have a very low mileage spare tr6060 sitting in my garage. Physically they look almost the same and are the same length. I would know more once I pull out the T56 to compare. I know I need a shifter relocation kit. I'm just tired of my T56 not having reverse. I had a rebuilt twice and still reverse didnt work.

Put a new reverse fork and bronze pads in boss. Do it yourself! Very simple. Remove driveshaft, remove tailshaft bolts and remove. Bam, there's 5th,6th and reverse. If it doesn't work at all, I'd put money on the Cir clip not having been replaced and popped out of groove from not being as sprung as it was during first install.
6060 has been done and yessir takes quite a few modifications to work but not an issue. Honestly though I'd keep your T56 and fix it without even removing from truck
