Pulling Leaf Springs??

I got a new leaf spring for the driver side of my truck this week. The one that's on it is tweaked a little I was thinking about pulling the bottom leaf out of both sides I thought it might help with some traction problems by letting the rear end of the truck squat more under WOT. Has anybody done this to there truck

You can clamp them down a little bit too.

I removed the extra leaf, and it will allow the truck to squat more, but you can forget any kind of towing.

I took out a leaf in a S-10 to level it out. It worked but I ended up with more axle hop. But with you having Caltracs I would say you would not have to worry about the axle hop.

I thought maybe It would take towing out of the question All I ever tow is my ski boat in the summer from storage to the launch ramp which is about 1 mile The tongue weight is only about 150lbs or so
