Jay this was one of the small things that I did to my truck that I liked. I just painted mine a oem black color without a gloss or anything shiny. They just always stayed black instead of fade. I think they turned out great!
Why have you not removed the tailgate and wing yet? And your good to remove the brake ducts. SRT-10 bract ducts provide little to know cooling how they come from the factory. You would have to add some hoses that routed air to the rotor, preferably to the center of the rotor
