Unfortunately, when they towed it off I wasn't able to get a useful answer of where it was going to be auctioned or anything.
A buddy of mine had his eye on it from the first time we met and said even if it was a crumpled mess he wanted dibs on it when I got rid of it. I wish I had grabbed my...
I know this is an old thread, but maybe you guys can answer something for me. Did a quick search but to no avail.
I had my 05 totalled after a kiss from a dumptruck tweaked the front of the frame. And when I was retrieving my junk out of it, I failed to take my programmer and unload the tune...
Yeah thats good info. Probably why trussman's used system was leaking. I'll let ya'll knock if these do or not when I finally get them on. I'll probably just try to get it done late this week/early this weekend once I get my home renovation crap outta the way.
PS-insulation/drywall sucks.
That's kinda what I was thinking. I honestly don't see the need to weld it all up if it doesn't leak w/ the supplied clamps.
To me it just sounded like they wanted an excuse to take more time/materials so they could charge me more.
Anyone had any issues with the bolt/clamp system that they send with it to install leaking? The reason I ask is that I don't have time to install the system right now, so I decided I'd just fork over a few bucks to have an exhaust shop do the swap from the stock cat-back. The weird thing is they...
Found some EBC's on ebay for $200(front rotors only)
These say they'll fit the truck, and I kinda like the look of them. Any thoughts?
Just saw that they are the USR series vs the 3GD series that most of the guys here run. Can someone point out the difference for me besides the obvious...
Thanks, I didn't realize the spindle and front susp. parts were that different(aside from the obvious calipers/rotors).
Anyone said anything about which seem to provide the best bang/buck? stock front rotors? any aftermarket ones require new calipers yes?
The caliper on that side seemed like it wasn't fully retracting, which is why I'm thinking the pad is completely gone on that one and the others are fine. Possibly just need a good cleaning to get the pistons moving easily again.
I need to replace my passenger front brake rotor because the pad disintegrated and caused enough damage to the stock rotor to warrant replacement instead of turning. I've heard good things about EBC but the kit I found is only for the 13.4" rotors like the regular rams...so I'd have to replace...
just guessing but its been lowered and doesnt have a shifter and it also has headrest monintors, so I'm gonna put my money on QC.:dontknow:
EDIT: it is a QC...look closely in his avatar pic.
how come no one does pinstripes down the sides of the stripes? I've always loved the way that looks. Maybe I'll photoshop it up to see what it looks like.
