That's right, I am ordering my SCT tuner and need to know if I should have it programmed to shut off O2 sensors. If so which ones? I don't want a total cat delete because I don't want #1900 sounding abnoxious. Also (this is probably a question for Stinker), should I use the deleted sensor's O2 bunghole (no pun intended) for the sensor leading to the A/F ratio gauge?

If you want to keep a set, delete the rear. As far as the gauge, you can use one of the empty bungs, be sure to plug the other one.

I also asked for my 02 sensors to be shut off in the tune but apparently it isn't working. I still throw a code....once I get the dyno and send it to Marty I'll have him double check it.

Tony, I deleted all four of mine and left the stock muffler and resonator in place, it sounds great! You can hear it but it is not loud. Used spark plug foulers on first two sensors and have no cel's.
One of the few things I have done where you could tell a SOTP difference!!

Kewl.. I just talked with the Stinkster and he confirmed the rear cats have to go. I'll do like you said Jack and use the vacant bunghole for the A/F wideband sensor. I don't have resonators so that set up you mentioned on your truck won't apply to me. Also I drove a truck once that only had a muffler (total cat delete) and in return it drove me crazy. My SCT is coming from Roe so I am hoping it wouldn't still throw a code like wesman. But if it does I'm certain they'll get to the bottom of it.:D

you have 4 exhaust bungs in your combined LT headers/midpipes..... the front 2 (in front of all the cats) are air/fuel o2 sensors that are needed & should be left alone in any situation.
your choices:
delete the rear two cats.... no other alterations needed.

delete all four cats... choose to go mechanical sims (spark plug anti-foulers) in rear exhaust bungs followed by the original rear o2 sensors OR electrical sims that plug into the electrical connection for the rear o2 sensors (capping the rear exhaust bungs OR having either a stage 2 pcm flash that includes o2 sensors delete in its flash or an sct tune that does the same.

that is all.:)
