Picked up my brand new 2006 SRT10 Quad Cab last night, odometer at 86 miles.
First drive today, great fun! A lot of rain today, hopefully better tomorrow.

Either it's my age ( eyesight etc ), can´t find the lock for the cargo area.
Maybe it does not exist? !?! Would like one, saw some posting regarding an electric lock that hooked up with the central locking system. Anyone knows what I am looking for?

Also can't find the mysterious "time button" on the Navigation/6-CD/Mp3 unit. Been reading the manual since dinner and still can't find the button!!!
Tried all the buttons on the unit, but no luck! Help!!!

Thats it from a rainy Stockholm / Sweden

Cheers

Super.

If you are talking about the locking tailgate, there is none from the factory. You have to buy an aftermarket one.

The time is set by using a pen or screwdriver to push in the indent buttons labeled hour and minute. If that is what you are talking about?

From a massive Forsberg fan:
Congrats on the new ride, Jerry!

If you're talking about the RB-4 stereo, the time issue with the radio is something they really didn't think through. There is no way to display the time (large) for more than 10 seconds. Harmon-Kardon makes the unit, but they provide ZERO support for it. It's a MAJOR design flaw, that could have been fixed very easily.
Here's my thread about it: http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3969
Next time I'm at the dealer, I'll ask about any firmware updates. No clock is pretty pathetic considering it's a $2000 unit.

Enjoy the new ride!

Welcome Jerry! Post up some pictures when you get the chance!!

Welcome Bro!! As for the hatch my handle is up underneath the tonneau cover if you drop the tailgate and reach up underneath the cover there should be a handle there. As for the time mine was the same with the pen in the little holes on the front.
Good Luck Brother.
Welcome to the Modhouse.........MUhahahahah!!!!:burnout: :burnout:

OK, thanks guys!
Does anybody know where that "time-button" is located?
Maybe it does not exist?!?!?!
A time ( large digits ) is displayed when unit is not in use, just want to have THE RIGHT TIME!!!!
Regarding pics, it's really awful here this time of the year, daylight ( when
it's not cloudy, is about 7 hrs a day. October - December is mostly dark and damp. Then we usually have snow Januari until mid April.
So I think I will park this one until April, do some mods ( mirrors, lowering, exhaust ) and then display it at the Street Cars Fest.
There some pics with "some nice Swedish ladies" surely can be arranged!
If you check out this link, there are some from previous SCF

Jerry....to adjust the time.... theres 2 little indentations (recessed dents) in the face of the radio...one has an "H" and one has an "M" next to it.... You have to use a ballpoint pen or a toothpick and push those recessed buttons in to adjust the time.....

Jerry,

My 05 Nav radio time was adjust by going through the GPS system, had to set it to CST and clock was perfect. I know the 06 is a lttle different, should be similar in function.

My tailgate has the "ram lock" as noted by a sticker above the tailgate handle. My switch tp control it is below the instrument panel left of the steering wheel. A simple "on-off" button is all it says. In "on" mode the tailgate locks with the key fob with the doors. Turn it "off" and tailgate is unlocked.

Ooops!!!!

First, thanks you guys that helped me with the clock problem!

Solved the problem.
The solution confirms the female saying:
If you don't want your man to read your correspondance, file under "Instruction Manuals"!!!

Searched the compartment between the seats and found a separate manual for the Navigation Unit. It seems I have one of those units! And satellite radio, U-connect, MP3-player and all those fancy gadgets.
So I just inserted the DVD for the Navigation, scrolled down to system setup and then it was smooth sailng!!
I could choose between that the GPS system got the time automatic or do it myself.
Did it myself since the Navigation only works in the US of A.

So thanks again!
Cheers
