first i would like to say sweet site guys and thank sanchoba for turing me onto this site.
i work at a dodge dealer as a parts director for a multi line auto group. so if any questions about your truck i can run your vin numbers and get you the full info on your srt-10 and mail or fax it to you. it will suprise you the info you thought you knew about your truck. i can help you with tsb (Technical service bulletins) or ya you guessed it, if you needed a part i can help there also. of course being that you are my brothers and sisters in the vtcoa you will also be set up with a very good discount on parts.
i currently have a silver 2005 dodge ram srt-10 regular cab 6 speed. let me tell you before i got the srt i had a 2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi 2wd lowered, mopar performance headers, mopar intake, cat back exaust and more. i was naive to think that my hemi was fast. i then took my current truck out on a test drive and it was love. the power wow the power. well you guys know what i meen.
i do have some mopar performance items that i am going to install. the headers, air intake system with hood duct system , a mopar cam and mopar computer module. i still have not made up my mind on the cat back exaust. so if any of you have any sugestions, that would be great.

again i like the site and contact me with any questions.

srt all the way!

Welcome to the home of the RBC!!! My input on a cat back is stick with the mother ship and go with the Mopar/Borla, I love mine. Oh and do think about becoming a vendor, we could sure use you from time to time around here!!!

Welcome Dragon.....gonna be great having you around....

Check out some of the mods in member's sigs and you will get a feel for the mod preferences....

have fun.....:D .....btw you may want to skip the air induction tied to the scoop....lot of testing has been done and unless you want it simply for looks skip the snorkle....

Welcome young Dragon:D  !

Yep, what he said!!! Pitch that piece in the trash and install the rest!

Welcome to the RBC Dragon, glad you found us.

Lots of us have the magnaflow (best bang for the buck) but others have BB system, Borla and Mopar. Like Mike Nowhat said, check our sigs for what we are using.

Post some pics of your truck too!!!

Night and day difference from the 5.7 to the SRT. I had the same thing happen to me. Had an 03 Hemi Ram....SRT came out....had to have it....never looked back since. Congrats on the new ride. Sounds like you already have a plan of attack for the truck.
Happy modding:D

thanks for all the good info, the air scoop i was already on the edge about not installing. so i wont be installing that now thanks for the info. now i have a direction to go on the cat back system.

talk to you guys later

Dragon,

Welcome to the club. I am presently running the magnaflow catback along with the other mods you want to do to your truck except the cam. I tried the Mopar catback (Borla), but went back to the magnaflow as I liked the sound better! But in defense of the Mopar catback, I only ran with it for about 500 miles and might not have given it an adequate chance to "burn in". The magnaflows seem to get better sounding the longer you run with them so I imagine the Mopar catback would do the same! Also, you have to put many miles on the truck after installing the performance PCM. It seems to "learn" the more you drive and the performance gets better with the more miles you drive!
