My 05 Power wagon rebuild (56k warning!)

After hurricane Ike buddy mine was selling his Power wagon that got flooded. He didn't have full coverage so he was pretty much screwed and he didn't have the tools or a place to work on it. So i bought cleaned it up and have been driving it for the last month or so. You can see the water line on the back of the seat. I reused the same leather just put it in the washing machine and let it air dry:)
Thought you might like to see the tear down and the rebuild pics . I will try to post pics in order of pick up in Galveston to finish.

Holy Cow! When you said tear down, you meant it. Nice truck.
 
Really wasn't all that bad if the body, dash and engine harness would have not taken so long to get here it would of only took about a week to do.

That is still a great accomplishment man, congrats on your great work. Awesome pictures too.
 
:congrats: That boy's got skills... And that PW was running real strong the night we went to test drive eddie's RC.
 
Should of seen the neighbors face when i cranked up the pressure washer and cleaned the inside of the cab.:)
 
That's very cool!..Well done...I went down to test drive a Power Wagon the day I bought my 10. They didn't have any in stock and the back order list was huge..You have a real rare jewel there, I would have have done the same thing to save her..:congrats: :congrats: :rock: :rock:
 
That was a labor of love...great job...and to do all of that in the time you took...in my mind was amazing!

For me its fun now if i can just make a living doing that kind of work it would be all good.
