The truck is now 3 weeks and 600 miles old and I finally got my first round of mods done:

I had my buddy Paul from Pauls Autowerks in Barnhart MO Basecoat/clearcoat my hood scoop ala Yellow Fever style but in a 03 Dodge Graphite color. He edged it out with a House of Kolors Candy Orange. He shot my wheels with the same paint but left the edges the OEM finish (I had the machined wheels, not the polished). I also lowered it and completely debadged it (minus ram head on the grill). Under the hood I made up one of my CAI kits and oil catch can, and also fabbed up some hard radiator pipes. I like to be different, so I powdercoated almost everything with a pearl candy orange two stage powder and then powdercoated the intake manfiold and thermostat housing with a metallic silver and clearcoat. I also made up a full dual 3" exhaust system with no cats, a magnaflow x-pipe muffler and stainless tips. I'll get it up on a lift and post some pics of it soon as well. The orange probably isnt everyones style, but I like to be different, and im really happy with it

Very nice, I like the orange. You should submit your truck for TOTM for December.

Very nice, I dig the colors on everything. How do you think the rim paint will survive over time?

It will last as well as an OEM painted wheel or aftermarket painted wheel. We powdercoat in house, but by the time you strip all the factory paint and clearcoat, dismount the tires, etc. it was easier to just get them painted. Also powdercoat will chip almost as easily as paint (due to its thickness), its just more durable against the elements (mine wont see much bad weather hopefully LOL) Thanks for the ocmpliments everyone,
Justin

Very Nice. Love the orange, really makes it pop

What no tint yet????:dontknow: ;) LOL

Looks unreal dude. I love the orange under the hood. Definatly would like to see pics of the exhaust. What did you do about the sensors? Sims or not?

Tint is coming next as well as a spray in bedliner. I'll try to get some exhaust pics up real soon. I used the defoulers for sims, weve used them on the SRT4neons before with sucess, and so far (150 miles) they are working, plus they are under $10 for 2 :D

Attention to details makes the difference between a great mod and an awesome mod.

You definately went all out and it looks amazing. Time well spent! The first thing that stood out was the rims and then picking out all the small details afterwards. Great job!

Very Nice! Well done, and thoughtful...now about those headers...maybe consider some color coordinated ceramic coated long tubes???

I have some visions of what this vehicle will look like a year from now...keep us updated...your taste may elevate the bar on this site!

Thanks for the pics.

Looks Familiar. wink wink. I like it A-lot. Nice work with the hood color, def stands out from the rest!!!! Good Job Brotha!!!

2ndChance, yours was an inspiration, I was so close to going black on the wheels and hood, then a buddy suggested the gunmetal color. I need to think of something to bring a small amount of orange and gunmetal to the back of the truck. I was thinking of airbrushing on the 06 SRT10 logo and using gunmetal/orange/black instead of the chrome/red/black. Still thinking on this though.

On the manifolds, yes something is in the works, Ive got gaskets sitting here, and I'll high temp powdercoat them in black until I find a set of headers or make some up. Ive got some custom stainless shields in mind too for them, just have to find some time to do all this stuff LOL

Thanks again for the compliments and any suggestions are welcome/appreciated.

Justin, you just have to get your priorities straight. Quit working on anything other than the truck. No more friends, male or female, just mods...nothing else.

YA did an excellent job brotha. Love the gunmetal color and the hood was outstanding. Paint the calipers, the valve covers, and def do the 06 logo painted on but use the colors u have on the hood!!!. I was going to do that. I think it would so much better painted on. Keep us posted with the pics!!!

Looks awesome, Justin! I especially like the wheels. I've been considering grey powdercoat for mine but wasn't sure how it would look. You just saved me some Photoshop time! :D Love it all - even the orange!:D To each his own.
