Looking for pics of black trucks with gloss black wheels. Thinking of making a change from my PermaStars and need some ideas.

Were you been bro. long time no hear.

Changed jobs (which has occupied most of my time away from work); "changes" to the new house; oldest daughter's volleyball tournaments; youngest daughter's cheerleading competitions (sitting in Myrtle Beach now for the Nationals); and the truck has been in the body shop for the last 3 months getting painted.......I'm sorry, what was your question again?

I know this doesn't help as much as you'd like but here's a few pics of my wheels when they were glossy black PC'd.

Great to hear you and the family are doing good.

That is one sick lookin truck you got there hank. Im not a fan of red vehicles but i would most deff rock that beast. love the black accents too:rock:

Now that, my friends, is a wax job. DAMN, I thought a couple good coats of zainos looked good.

I got nothing on that!
What is your secret?:congrats:

haha, thanks man. this is what i do as an all day saturday deal from early morning to late evening, step by step....

1. wash using original Dawn soap, then use meguiars gold class soap
2. dry using microfiber towels
3. pull it into the garage and let sit for an hour
4. meguiars clay bar treatment
5. meguiars SwirlX swirl remover using applicator pad and buffing BY HAND good quality 100% cotton t-shirts
6. meguiars gold class liquid wax, also using applicator pad and several good quality 100% cotton t-shirts BY HAND

I stress BY HAND cuz I believe that you get the best results, just my opinion cuz i'm sure some will disagree.

do it twice a year cuz of the harsh desert weather, summer and winter are brutal. it is garaged every night but it's parked outside while at work. luckily i work the midnight shift so it's outta the sun mostly.

Hank you got her looking good bro! I really want some Semi-gloss black rims instead of my flat black ones.... I wish I knew a good reputable place somewhat local to me :(

i hear ya, i gotta admit that i wasn't big on red either. i'd love to have a black truck but where i live, with the sun, wind and dust, it wouldn't look nice for long no matter what i did. black looks the best by far but also shows the most swirls and defects...:dontknow:

i know there's better quality products out there not as commercial as meguiars but i've always enjoyed the results from them and i think it's the best brand found almost anywhere.

just look for a powder coating or sandblasting shop. even shops that do wrought iron fencing, most have PC ovens.

Those definitely help. I haven't been able to see anything up close (most look flat black). Thanks for the pics.
