A couple have asked for instructions on different Mopar performance parts, so here is everything that I have. You are best off to right click and save the target. Headers Exhaust Ram Air Engine Control Module If someone had the instructions for the Cam that would be cool also
Thanks for the ECM instructions, I got mine in the box still I didn't want to mess it up. I got it used from a fellow VCA member with no instructions.
Thanks for the info  Those are great easy to follow instructions thanks for the info! :bandit:
I can barely put gas in my truck. The exhaust install looks to be easy. That is my next mod. This Forum is awesome.
I tried to open and just got a bunch of computer gibberish? Html or something??? I did right click and save as target as well. patrick
Great information, THANKS!!!! The Mopar headers must not be ceramic coated. I don't like the look of all that heat tape under the hood. Also, noticed in the install intermedate exhaust pipes pictures, missing cats. Do the Mopar headers have the O2 bungs in them. I have heard you can run without cats by changing ECM's. I want to run long tube headers, catless with dual 3 inch exhaust out the back. Anybody currently running this set up??
The mid pipe have bungs for all 4 O2 sensors in them. I ran like this with the stock ECM for a couple months and never got the check engine light. I have the Mopar ECM now which I am guessing doesn't care about the second set of O2's which are for checking to see of the cats are functioning properly. The first set of O2's are used to measure fuel ratio. As for the heat tape I wonderd at first too, but it doesn't look terrible if you wrap it nice and tight. I do like the raw stainess look of the pipe. You could send them in and have them coated, I don't know that that would be enough to keep heat off the plastic inner fenders and the way the pipes wrap around the steeing shaft?
Is the rest of your exhaust system stock? How does it sound inside the truck? Noticeably louder? Can you feel a difference in power? It sures seems the remaning stock exhaust system is restrictive. I was thinking of running a 3" X pipe out of the headers, stacking two flowmasters where the stock muffler is and running dual 3" out back and eliminating the second small muffler near the tailpipes. Just don't want it too loud.
I have the Mopar exhaust, made by Borla. It is louder then stock for sure and you can feel the difference in power. But I did the headers and exhaust all at the same time so I don't know if one added any more them the other. I can tell you the the headers and exhaust added more noticable power then the ECM did. Here are a couple of crapy sound clips, also the link to the video in my signature you can some what here over the ricer. To me it adds more of an exotic sound, Ferrari like. http://www.moparmudder.com/newtruck/srt10/Start up.wav http://www.moparmudder.com/newtruck/srt10/Run.wav
How much is the totall cost af all 4 of those upgrades, Im quite intrested in knowing, Just a basic estimate would be fine. $1000, $2000, $5000??????
I am interested in getting the Mopar RAMAIR and possibly some other mopar upgrades for my SRT-10... what is a good site to price/purchase this stuff ?
Sorry about that, switched servers and got rid of that web site. Here are the new links, may be a mod can edit the original post. Headers Exhaust Ram Air EMC
