Well Saturday venomous and I went to the track to make a few passes, sucked because we only got 2 passes in but I finally got my 11.99. Sadly my wife was racing her 300 and was directly infront of me so I have no video. My first pass was against my wife and I guess she made me nervous because I missed 3rd and ended up with a 12.42@114 to her 13.05@107. After waiting forever to get another pass venomous and I lined up truck spun outta the hole but still pulled a 1.70 60', and ended up with the [email protected]. Not real sure where all my MPH came from on that pass as it is about 1.5mph higher than I have been running but I'm glad it was there. I'll post up the timeslip when I get to the housr today

Other than the bolt ons listed in sig, what did you do to get there? Obviously slicks.... where you full weight?

i updated the mods in my sig i was a few behind. ive done some weight reduction on the truck buy other than the slicks and skinnys that is how i drive it on the street, wing, tailgate, and full inetrior. i just bolt the wheels on and go. here is what it looks like ready to hit the track, still need to drop the rear end somemore

Dont you have a Spec 3? Where did you pull the weight, with the full interior and tailgate?

ahh i see, thanks man. i really wish i could've gotten another pass in to back it up though. the DA wasn't GREAT but it wasn't bad either, right around 880 i think. i;m going to pull it all apart and start fabbing up some long bars doon and dump the cal-tracs.

yeah a stage 3+, pulled weight out of the front and rear bumpers, and dropped the spare tire. the the front drops another 100lbs going to the skinnys, and i think another 60 or so in the rear with the slicks instead of the 22's
 
Have you put it on a scale with your race weight yet?

My local track has a free scale. Im going to see where im at next week.

not race weight, but with the 22's it was 4780 or 4750 i can't remember now but that was before i jacked with the rear bumper so 4650-4700 now with the 22's and take another 160 off at the track with the slicks/skinnys so about 4550ish without me in it

Usually when you hook like a mofo your mph will be down a little bit but you et will be quicker.

Good luck on the long bars.
 
Outstanding Justin!!!!! I'm really happy for you. Most guys on here don't knoe the feeling to crack a huge barrier like 12.00, Congrats again. My next big barrier 11.51....gotta get the NA crown back.
 
How did you get the skinnys to work? And what kind of rear rims are those or the specs? That is exactly the set up I'm looking for but don't want to just buy rims and hope they will work.
