So Cal GTG

I noticed the Texas guys have a new section and are planning GTG's. I think its about time us So Cal guys have one. There are plenty of us down here, just need to coordinate something. Post up if you are interested and your city so we can decide a good middle ground for everyone. I will start:

We used to meet up in Old Town, Temecula but I haven't seen anything on that in the last year or so.

I'm in Bakersfield, Famoso Drag Strip is about 20 miles north of town. The next Test and Tune dates are: Friday Sept. 7, Friday Sept. 21 , and the final Test and tune is Sat & sun Nov. 3-4. Friday gates open at 7pm , racing 8pm to midnight. Sat and Sun test and tune are open 8am and close at 6pm. There will also be a private track day coming up, I will post when I find out more.

I wouldnt be able to make the Sept dates but could most likely do the Nov dates. Need to get the clutch and hydraulics replaced, exhaust done, and re-tune from Torrie before I hit the track though.

How would everyone feel about doing this at Famosa in Nov? Guys that dont wanna run their trucks can just pay for a pit pass. Would also give those of us that need to work on our trucks prior to anymore track passes the time to get it done.
