Im not in anyway putting down PCB or Tony, but Im just saying there are alternatives, especially since Tony already did PCB this year. Mopar week is a big thing, and will happen regardless. would be cool to represent though, that would be a GREAT way to get the name out there.

Going back to the original purpose of this thread: I don't attend GTG's because my personal time is very limited and, quite simply, I would rather spend that limited time doing things with my girl and my kids.

Im prolly goin to a day or two of the Mopars at Myrtle. Wed is track day so at MINIMUM I will be there for that.

You guys do realize that there are hundreds of other places exactly like PCB on the lower east coast right? Even Myrtle Beach is awesome. Matter of fact, Arrington Performance is having a Mopar WEEK in August, 13-18th. An entire week at the beach flooded with Mopars from all over, and it ends with a huge car show followed by a late night cruise down Ocean Blvd. Lots of cool people, good food, and cold beer and of course our badass cars and trucks. Being that I lived there for 15 years I can say that Mustang Week and Mopar Week always have a huge turnout and I always go to both if I can. This year Ill be with the Midlands Chapter of Deep South Mopars BUT if we can get enough VTCoA guys together I can get us a beach house for CHEAP through friends of mine. Heres a link and a basic view of some of the events.

I think the weather has a lot to do with GTG's also. I sure y'all don't do too many GTG's/Shows when it's snowing, raining or -32 outside. Here in Phoenix most of our GTG's/Shows are in the winter time. It's not fun to set in a parking lot when it's 110 outside & it may cool down to 85 in the late evening. Crusin' with the windows up & the air on is not the most fun either. Some of us meet at a cool spot for chow & a brew, but it slows down here in the summer.

I have noticed that the drama has significantly been reduced over the past several months. Never really understood why it had to be so difficult.

Due to the narrow scope and limited number of these trucks on the road, I can understand why it is difficult to garner much of a turnout at the GTG's. I almost never see other SRT-10's driving around Dallas.
