New to the SRT Family 04 SRT 10

You got a great deal, even if you put 6k into it fixing it up, your way ahead in the money end

No salvage title, guy in a bind and needed some cash. The plastic piece for the ram air on the good is broken, does it just come off and replace or is it a one piece hood?

Welcome and you can take it out and replace it. And on the gauges have you checked all the fuses inside and out.

No man I haven't a clue where to look or what fuse to pull, I bought the truck last night and drove it home and then had to leave for Mississippi so I haven't got to touch the truck. What fuse numbers should I take a look at?

Idk exactly wat numbers but u can look at like the ones that say guages or cluster or interior somewhere around those lines

Thanks, does anyone know the part # for the hood piece that the air passes through?

Welcome from Phoenix, Arizona. In the middle of your wing there should be a center brace. Do you have a hole in your bed cover/wing in the middle? If you are like the rest of us you will always be "fixing up your truck".

I looked but couldn't tell. Just you so you know, some of the aftermarket shifters spontaneously combust, and that can be very dangerous. I recommend changing it out for a stock shifter. Since you are a new guy, and I hate to see new guys shifters spontaneously combust, I'll trade you for my stock shifter. :D

What cause them to grenade? I'm not new to close shifting just to the srts :).

Hahahaha man that's messed up to put that into a newbies head lol but why not put me on that list too. I have a stock shifter sitting around lol:D

I heard it was the flux capacitor spring, but I can't be sure. So, do you want to trade? I'll even pay shipping both ways. :D

If its just the flux capacitor spring, they told me at autozone they had them in stock so I guess I'll just hold into it :)
