How fast are we?

In light of the video that has been posted to our front page, it makes me wonder. How fast can these trucks REALLY go. Im not talking about in a quarter mile. Im talking about top speed. Flat out until the engine is on its last leg. I know about the Texas Mile and all but Im sure there has been some crazies out there that have made the trip to Mexico to see just how fast this thing really is. Lets hear some stories.

I hit 135 and let off, mainly because I do not trust the upkeep of the previous owner and I have much more to live for than trying to figure out how fast my Dodge Ram is. BUT, I know that when some of you guys mod these things you take them out and unleash them.. Lets hear it

Had a '72 240Z to 154mph by speedo and ran out of road. Them were the days I drank liquid guts and was invincible. Probly will never see 110 again. :dontknow:

No way, my viper with almost another 150hp more and way better aero will only top out at just over 200.

The speedo goes up to 160 ans I had mine way past that. Im guessing 170 ish and tben the front end started to lift and the truck started tk shake so I got out of it. That was back before the build with just bolt ons and tune

I'll take a look and see if I can find video of Mickey. I was part of the group that went down with him. I don't remember what he ran. Only that it was a hot muggy day in middle of the swamp at an airport in the middle of nowhere. Over 150 multiple times. Best was 157 twice, that was all she had. I held 157 for an honest 10 seconds and couldn't get anymore. Road was perfectly flat with no beneficial decline.
