Seriously this truck is a blast to drive I am having a hard time not making it my daily driver. How to you guys cope with the withdrawal pains when driving in other vehicles now? I am just kidding but seriously I wish I had the money back in 2004 to buy one this truck off the floor.

I feel your pain right now with my truck in the shop! i say drive it screw getting a beater car. It wants to be driven! Venomous has 108K and still going, who cares about miles when ou are rolling in style!!

I put about 15k the first year I owed it. there was a couple of months where I spent more on gas then the truck payment but it was worth it. the truck is down now for a couple of upgrades but will be done before new years

Still a daily driver and it's still fun passing all of those econo boxes and mini vans while they stare at the truck and say wtf was that???

I put about 6K miles a year on mine, but I miss it every day I drive something else. My friends all think I'm crazy... but you all understand. These trucks are mesmerizing!

Mine was my daily for over a year. I worked over an hour from home and loved driving it for fun on the weekends. Put 32,000 in the first year(had 11k) when I got it. Luckily I found a Dakota for a daily for a good price. The 10 now has 76 k I think.....been a while since I have looked at the miles. Been a fun 7 yrs so far!

So true, I have been just cruising the streets of San Antonio getting these looks all the time. Most people think I have a a ghetto looking 1500 even my neighbor didn't believe it had a V10 in it... Kids these days.

I am in san antonio, do you have pics of your truck? I have not seen any in SA?

One way to keep the milage off is have the company you work for reseal the parking lot and resize the parking spaces smaller to gain a couple more.

I drive mine every chance I get. I didn't buy it to look at. I love the way the 10 works and. Can't wait till spring!

It still surprises me the reaction you get from people when they see these things. I just had it out over the weekend to get a X-mas tree and overheard the guys wrapping the trees commenting that it was a badass looking truck.

Just put it on jackstands in the rear and run it in reverse:dontknow:

I cant think of a day in the last year or so that Ive owned mine, that I havent driven it. It never gets old. Sometimes I just walk outside and look at it. Then I sit on my couch and think "I own that, I should probably be driving it"….and then I do. People who garage these things are missing the point. They are meant to be driven, thats exactly why they were made. The Ram SRT-10 begs you to hit the start button and take it for a lengthy spin.

Source* Drove Lamborghinis, also tanks for the US Army, SRT 10 is still better.

I travel with a company vehicle and wouldn't risk my 10 just sitting in a parking lot all the time.. As much as I would love to drive mine more, I fear some one else would decide they needed a "joy" ride.. Plus it would have to set out side in the weather.
I drive my old jeep to endure in the elements and relax knowing the 10 is safe in the garage at home..
that said, I love driving my jeep though too for different reasons.. so the trick is, have 2 (or more) sweet rides to drive, if you can! The DD doesn't have to be a beater..

See I just dont get that. The whole "keep my truck out of the weather". I drive my shit rain/snow/sun and it still looks great. ANY car that looks good requires a great amount of elbow grease and sometimes power tools. My 10 simply wont fit in my garage, but thats ok. I take care of it. I hand wash it and wax it. I take a clay bar to it after every season. You have to treat your paint like its the first and last set of skin youre ever gonna get. Auto manufacturers take this into account. They know that modern cars will face the elements of nature, its YOUR job to protect it. Theres no need to pamper your truck, ITS A TRUCK. Just take care of it, and you'll be fine.
