SAE Corrected makes everyone on a level playing field.. so it represents power evenly if your at 10000feet or -100000 feet lol STP and SAE correction are not the same. STD/STP uses reference conditions of 29.92 InHg (103.3 kPa) of dry air and 60 F (15.5°C). SAE uses reference conditions of 29.23 InHg (99 kPa) of dry air and 77 F (25°C). The higher higher pressure and cooler temperature used by STD means that it will be about 4% higher than SAE, on average.
IMHO, Looking at the graph id say it was Hazing the tires from the get go up untill about 3500 RPM. Thats why the Tq number read so high because after that the tq just started dropping but the tru hp number stay pretty consistant. At about 5000 RPM tq matched hp. Thinkin you need to get that thing strapped down better next time. On my dyno ive seen cars pick up hp and also seen them lose power from the way there strapped down and on FWD cars ive seen them pick up power by simply getting an alignment done to them.
After some research I eventually realized the TQ was screwed up. The HP# seems bout right tho with my times and spinnin.
My air cleaner cover says we have 505HP & you are only at 500.8. You need more mods. Nice truck, looks clean.
This is my first time seeing your dyno run videos and they are AWESOME! Who cares about exact numbers when you're at 66K+ miles and driving it on weekends? Just doing a dyno run makes me feel like a gearhead.
Thanks man. Dyno days are always fun. This particular one had a fully built mustang blow to bits on the Dyno. Fun for the crowd, not for the owner who just had it built. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
Dyno'd mine a few weeks ago, put 480rwhp down and 506ft/lbs tq, then went to the track (its literally right next to the dyno shop in Mooresville) and ran 8.0 in the 1/8th lunching under 4K rpm cause my 4.88's spin so much. So an 8.0 in the 1/8th according to your chart is a 12.48 quarter mile, so with your 100 more ft/lbs of torque and not have these garbage 4.88's that everyone will tell you makes you slower, you should be high 11's with those numbers...do it up
