Possible Louisiana gathering

just putting it out there for an idea.. if anyone would be interested in a possible gathering for us Louisiana members. anyone willing to make the trek is welcome .. thinking of maybe the Lafayette area possibly.. another thought is maybe meeting up in Gonzales which is the last stop on the Hot Rod power tour this year. Just trying to get some ideas out there. another idea is to meet up on a Sunday TNT at state capital raceway just outside Baton Rouge.. suggestions are welcomed.. surrounding states such as Texas and Mississippi for example are welcomed.

no dates in particular... if we choose the hotrod tour meet in Gonzales then it'll be during the summer. I can't remember the date exactly but it's on a Saturday.. other than that, no dates set yet. trying to see the interest and we can come up with the dates.

I'm about an hour and a half from Baton Rouge.. I know some guys who go to cars and coffee in Baton Rouge... I believe it's off of Burbank in Baton Rouge.. the next one is April 4th.

yea I've been thinking on that as well.. it's at the Lamar Dixon center in Gonzales .. I know the area well.. it's on a Friday.. I think Saturday is for the actual participants of the tour.

Yes and no... They say its only open to long haulers who completed the whole trip, but the few times I have been I went and checked out the cars anyways. It was actually a group of long haulers who invited me the first time and said no one enforces that.
