Powermist Methanol racing fuel

Looking for some advice on using methanol racing fuel for drag racing. My SCT has a race gas tune so I picked up 15gal of powermist ultra pure methanol racing fuel. After thinking about it, I am now a little unsure on how to go about using it. This will be the first time to a strip, and my thought was to make a few passes with the 93 octane then put in the methanol and race gas tune and see what happens.... :burnout::burnout::burnout: any advice is greatly appreciated,

I think methanol is similar to ethanol in that it requires a greater volume of fuel to create the same combustion so although the octane rating is higher you may need a larger fuel delivery system before attempting to use it. Like ethanol I think it may require a specific fuel pump and lines that can handle the alcohol content as well. I have never tried it so these are just my thoughts and should not be taken as fact.

You got to "set up" a engine to run on that stuff. It's not going to end well with just throwing it in there! That's a totally different tune along with the mechanical modifications

Stop. dont use it.

For race fuel, c16 is common. and if you arent tuned for the higher octane, you will run slower.

When people use meth in street cars like i do, typically it's meth injection. Not run their vehicle on strait methanol like the Jr dragsters.

Lots of time with e85, people have to upgrade their fuel system because it takes much more fuel to make the power.
