I was new to the GTO 3 years ago. But had been around LS powered cars for MANY years. I find that the newb questions stir up old information that has settles down in the bottom of the knowledge pool/forum and helps keep everyone current. Some times a newb question about mufflers or best CAI or where to get a tune or does HPT support this or that stirs up great conversation.

I think its all in how the newb question is presented. If it looks like the guy did some research and has narrowed down this or that and needs clarification that's one thing. If its a newb asking something that could be found easily and expects the forum to just shower them with love and knowledge...then attack away.

Sort of...except with 4.88's there's no winning by an inch, only a mile
