So I was recently dyno tuned by flying Ryan performance here in Houston tx , my starting numbers were 415rwhp and final numbers after his tune was 450rwhp note on a mustang dyno if that makes a difference, question is am I about right on numbers with mods only being a exhaust , thanks in advance

..spent most of this weekend at a local Dyno Dynamics Dyno facility.
These Dynos read even lower than a Mustang Dyno but flip a "switch" to put either of these Dynos in "Shoot-Out Mode" and they are really close to what a Dynojet will read.
If someone were to leave that part out in conversation, you may think "Wow" xxx horsepower on a Mustang (or a Dyno Dynamics) Dyno !!!
Another Factoid: Some of the Fast and Furious crowd were getting higher numbers on a DYNOJET than a DYNAPACK. Go figure...
So in Dyno-Land, there are no real absolutes, just generalities.
Use the dyno as a tuning tool first and foremost. And that's been said many times before, for a good reason.
If you picked up 35 wheel with a tune, that is good.
As far as final numbers go...a dyno can be setup to give you ANY number you like, and that also goes for engine Dynos.
But used "responsibly"
they are very valuable for tuning. This is particularly true with a loading-type dyno like a Mustang, Dyno-Dynamics, or Dynapak.
One "fact" : A stock Gen III (stick) Viper car typically makes 425 on a Dynojet.
A stock automatic Viper truck loses 30 horsepower though the drivetrain and are typically around 390 wheel on a Dynojet.
The rest of the data in Dyno-Wonderland can be "Subject to change without notice"...
Track times, particularly MPH tell the real truth.
