    Guys,

I am experiencing the red brake warning light on the dash. It has been intermittent for a while but now is on full time. I have read in some of the threads that this is a common issue and some have had success with replacing the master cylinder w/switch. I would like to go this route but I am unsure of the exact Mopar part #. Several different part #'s have been listed here on the forum. My truck is a 2006 Quad Cab w/ 20" wheels ( I include this because I have seen this is part listings for the master cylinder). Can someone point me in the right direction. Much appreciated!

That red brake warning light can also happen if the abs sensor on the rear end [ right on top of the ring gear ] is broken off or failed, and also if one or both of the abs sensors on the front wheels has failed. Best bet is to get a diagnostic reader that can do ABS and check it all out.

If truck has a bunch of miles remove and inspect the front ABS sensors. Probably just replace them if they are all clogged up / coated with crap. If you replace one front sensor replace them both.

Then drive truck and see what happens.

Thanks. I'll check for those issues as well.
