Is anyone running the new Nitto 555Rll drag radial? They are making it in 305/40/22.

I wish I was as I'd gain around 4 miles per hour over the ones I have now.

I can answer my own question about Nitto Dr's. I pulled the trigger and bought a pair. Had to get them from Summit, a bit pricey, but I wanted them . No comparison to my old pirelli tires. Very little wheel spin second gear is just a chirp. I've already got a kill with them S10 Blazer 2 door maybe 2000 model with a V8 in it. We caught light and he wanted to go, he did have some large street tires I got him off the light and pulled hard by the end of 2nd gear he quit. Maybe 4 or 5 truck lengths behind .At 25 PSI and 2500 RPM quick clutch release no dump good hole shot, I'll practice more.

I just bought some new DRs but if they are still available, I'd love to try the Nittos when my new ones have expired.

They look like they are directional.

Do you have a side picture??

The 17" drag radials I have are 2"+ lower than the 22s so my 4.56s turn into 4.89s which I don't really want (or need). The lower "gearing" also costs me 4 to 5 miles per hour through the traps.

Glad they worked out for ya!

I'm running Nitto's but they only have one groove in them. Makes for some interesting driving in rain... Dry pavement, they hook up great! Nice truck by the way. Oh, and I noticed you have a bump steer kit. I'm looking for one now, but no luck. What brand are you using? Venom discontinued their kit.

Ronnie, in maybe a month or so, I'm buying black rims, and will have my originals available. I must say though, two of them are warped from previous owners, and all have some curb rash. I'd be willing to sell them to you cheap, if your interested.

IF (2) are reasonable, we can likely work something out.
Shoot me some pics when the time comes.

    Thanks!

Will do. When I got my first set of tires, the mech called me into the shop. He spun each wheel in the balancer, and out of all four, one was still true, and the other three were in different stages of being warped. The two best ones are on the front, the worst on the back. The only time I really notice it, is when the truck has been sitting for a day or so, or first thing in the morning until the tires warm up. After that, it's good. There are places I've found, that can true the rims back to factory.
