Search for restoration batteries and see if any come up. There's a company that offers group 24 covers - called mancini racing maybe contact them for a lead.

Just order one. Original 2004 part number is 56028452AA; the p/n evolved to -AC by 2005 and is now 56028452AD. Part number searches show both -AC and -AD available.

I would assume so since it would be ordered from Mopar under that part number. That being said, it likely will be a more modern label, like so:



Also ordering a battery from OEM allows you to pay probably twice what you would for any other brand of the same spec.

I've heard there are a few companies that produce the batteries anyways so why pay the extra lol

They must get hot hahahaha - interstate works good for me but we use batterymart and they work good too all same stuff

Been wondering if maybe the battery temp sensor maybe causing the batteries to get eaten

Maybe if it's malfunctioning. The reason for its existence is to fine tune charging relative to battery temp, so if it's giving false readings there may be an issue, but honestly as long as it charges at 13.6-14.6 volts whilst running it doesn't matter.

Ill need to check the charging and see what it shows on mine ..

Ive had 3 codes on my Dakota , 0051 , 1492 and 0432 for a long time... One is the battery temp sensor the others are 02 sensor or catalytic converter system codes ..

No chance getting a Found On Road Dead or Mile Marker Mustang..

Decided to take a look at the O2 sensor relay to see if I had power to it .. put it back in and did another key code test and got a new code 0136 which also involves another O2 sensor .. I guess ill have to just change all 4 of them and the relay for the hell of it . While i at it I might as well replace the battery temp sensor .. Ah heck maybe the TPS , IAC and the MAP sensors ,, Damn am I forgetting any hahaha ?
