I mean isn't waxing a carsubjective as to which products you want to use? I think primer under wax would qualify

Like most spray and liquids ,, they dont last long
Sand paper is small palm size sheets ... so im just rubbing the truck with my hand as far as anyone is concerned ,, twice a day hahaha with water to avoid blistering

Im usung 600 to 800 wet sand paper at the moment on the primer and areas ive sprayed paint testing and checking for imperfections . There are some small dots and a couple small runs with very small orange peel that needs,to be worked on .. nothing big before i go all out with the gloss black .. Then will have to color wet sand again to remove any orange peel which is inevitable . The clear coat everything and repeat the sanding to smooth it out again and then its rubbing compound and polishing compoud to a shiny ask mirror show car finish hahahaha .. all painted and done with spray cans .. Ill see how it finalizes !
Today alread did a wet 600 grit rubdown as it rained this morning so saved on the water bill hahaha !
I will have to get more gloss paint when Wally gets it in again ,, damn , no idea how long that will take .. last time was months and months .. i have only 1 can of gloss black at the moment so will let whats already been done cure till I get the paint . Bummer time ! Im impatient damn it hahaha and i want to use my real spray equipment ... Askhole HOA SOB's ..

Im still lookimg at new headlights , tail lights and 3rd brake light .. not sure if Imshould hold off till the paint is finisher to get the roll on bed liner .. new brake and clucth pedal pads , console lid and glove campartment door are on the search still .... I found the glove compartment , the right color but scuffed up . I can replace the scuffeed face of the glove using my original .. the problem is Im anal when it comes to paying shipping , part $40 and the guy wants $20 dollars shipping .
Clutch and brake pedal pads look the same as mine but need to be sure they are the same size ..
The console lid in the color s to me a bit expensive for what it is IMO so shopping continues ... Prices vary to much on these parts so hoping to find a deal since Im not in a real hurry hahaha !
PS: I may be able to repair the broke monting cheal plastic piece with crazy glue or JB weld .. My eyes are what the use to be and making sure its lined up right .. Plus I need the glove door latch handle

Im beginning to hate the idjut dash light on the Dakota and the rest of the idjut lights .. got in for a run to the store and on comes the brake light and ABS light ... tested for codes and the 0432 ( catalist ,02 sensor im hoping ) is back and still 0455 is there ( evap leak ) ...
i have 3 02 sensors but i know therie going to be a pain in the ask or worse to replace. Ive been avoiding them lol..
On the ABS and brake light im hoping that it was only low brake fulid and filled it .. test drive will let me know if thats all .. heck maybe that triggered the 0432 code lol ..

Stupid question most likely but - could any of the lights that come on be triggered by fuses?
According to researching about the ABS , Yes, a bad fuse can trigger the ABS light to come on due to the computer not recieving the information that the ABS is on or not .
Took if for a run after adding the brake fluid and the ABS and brake lights are off now ....
If the ABS is not working all it does is revert brake to the Pre old fashioned braking system which does not affect the braking per say except a pain in the dash Idjut light..
If the ABS is working but not on all wheels you will notice something isnt right and one bad ABS sensor to one wheel can cause funcky braking wheel skidding on harder braking ..
other problems can occur if some other mechanical wheel part is bad , warped rotor, Hub bearings , easy enough to check but can be a royal pain fixing those things...
Did a final gloss black on the Dakot hood and front fender then decided to do clearcoat on them ... SOB , I have a few spots that will need some small runs and 3 other spots fixed .. the runs will be no problem but the problem in the pics I have no idea what caused those ! Any ideas ? It happened on the second coat of clear on the fenders ... Now i have to wait longer before wet sanding and buffing .. spray cans are a pain in the but to get a smooth spray pattern ! Freaking HOA SOB's !
