What looks better on these trucks ? 20's or 22's ?

I've been looking for some specific pics of our trucks either in RC or QC with sizes ranging from 20 inch aftermarket or factory 22's.
It's not easy to discern but i was cruising the web and saw a RC, lowered, with what looked to be a set of aftermarket 20's on it with some beefier tires. And holy smokes it looked good. At some point i am going to want another set of rims on this truck and i think going to the polished 22's would be my best choice. What i have right now are a set of factory flat black 22's, showing there age. Nothing fancy but seeing a QC with the factory rims on is now more and more likely.

I thought about putting the 20" factory steel spares on mine for the rougher areas we live in, but only acquired 2 besides the spare so far.

Definitely a sleeper look with those wheels hahaha

Factory OEM wheels are made by Speedline/Italy if you want original equipment

It really is a looker with the 22's, being that the wheel well is that big to decently hold a 24 is something else. But such a big rim can look somewhat small when stuffed under a lowered 05 chassis still speaks to these rigs.

The 22's were chosen for the balance of ride and handling. 20's will give you more sidewall and a better ride (and cheaper tires) but it won't handle as well as it did.

i had no clue a 22 would be capable of that, i guess miracles do happen.

Tire profiles with less side wall and lowering should improve it with the 20’s not to mention a drop better mileage weight reduction should help keep the handling lol

I’ve got an 06 RC, it came with 24s. They rub like no other. Mostly at full lock when turning, but they rub more than I like. The RF has already torn the brake duct loose so now I have to fix that. I’m toying with the idea of 20s, going with a “smoothie” look with a set of U.S. wheels, staggered off course. Was thinking 20x12 on the rear, and 20x8s on the front.

Can we all just admire the custom headlights you have on your truck, and the fact that it looks like you have a set of phazer cannon's in each.

Dang!! Those are very cool! Nice catch thanks for pointing that out. I also like the purple stripe

I like them the way they came
I do agree. Dodge got the wheels right. One of the few wheels that look good on a stock vehicle. If I could find the black with machined face in a 20”/22” I would stick with them. If I go that route I would sell these 24s, but if I go with something different I’ll keep the 24s to maintain this look for future local car shows. The way these 24s rub I’m going on a limb and saying it was purely for show. Thanks for complements, the OG builder takes the credit, he’s actually on this forum but I’m not sure he’s active. He did a Helluva job building this truck. I hope you don’t feel like I jacked your post red, not my intentions. Just looking for wheel options like you.

I don't think I've ever seen 20's on an SRT-10 (in person) yet. Saw a lowered Hemi Ram on the brass Hellcat OEM 20's with adapters once. Looked pretty cool, but have no clue what durability would've been like.

Some years ago, lots of Hemi guys were putting 305/50R20 Nittos in place of their 275/60R20's. I thought they looked cooler with the beefier (sport) tires on the stock wheels when lowered.

I think they were an inch shorter while being about an inch wider, so no rubbing in most applications.

I haven't seen that either but the spare wheel is a 20 so someone could put one on and show us hahaha!

What are these 20s you speak of lol. It came with the right size. Keep the 22s and change the tires for a different look.

I had 20s on back in the days, ride was good. Here’s my truck with 20s and 2/5 drop.
