Was on a SCT so called sticky. Some guy tells a first post guy - "F you."
I know I should stay out of this but it brings back memories why I left this sight for so many years. bobbymac
All I see are many different pics of srt's in the garage when I open.
Not sure if i am in the right place to ask, but were there really only 400 06 night runners made? If so? How many are on this sight? And where better to ask - what are they going for these days? I already know "what someone...
tires
And all this time I thought I was nuts for owning a srt 10. So roasting is the new word for smoking them. Don't know where I heard this but remember "it's not the tires screeching its the road screaming."
Seems caveman was the first to ask. When I replace them I will let you know.

Thanks for the info. Looking towards the firestones for replacements. The BFG's look coowel but a little to radical for me. Always use a little less tire pressure then recommended by the manufacturer anyway.
Think you guys that want the old ones are joking. Unless of course there is...

Just trying again. Back to tires. Read somewhere on this sight to try bfg kdw's. Question - which ones?
Don't drive in the rain or snow. In the winter I do not even take it out when roads still have salt on them. But really - were the bfg kdw's refuring to the t/a kdw-2 kind? bobbymac
Thanks for the info. Guess I'll keep the battery awhile.
Have left a few stretches but not into those burnouts. Besides aren't they to heat the tires up before a drag race. Never saw anyone do it at the stop light 0 to 60 runs. lol
Been thinking of replacing the tires with firestone...
Have 5000 miles on original tires. No cracks and plenty of tread. Is it time for new ones?
Original battery. Have kept a 1 amp float charger on it since new when not in use. Still reads 12.4 on a battery tester. Should I change it?
thanks bobbymac
Was asked to drop in. Have not been around since 08. Left because I got tired of mixing words with a bunch of know it all's.....
First question would probably be - Do I still own the SRT? Yes.
Lost its spot in the garage to three motor cycles when I retired.
Put it up for sale a few months...
A long thread is to say the least. You should have written a book. I thank you, I thank all of you for the information. The suspense as to what was going to come next was the best. Keep it shiny side up. bobbymac
And all this time I thought it was normal to vote for the least of two evils.
And I will add -- the one that waits the hardest and the longest is MOM, no matter where we are. Therambler
My Mother was adopted
No child support back then ( 1920's) My grandma did the best she could. My Mom lived on to raise seven children. I am one of them.
Thank you for writing about a part of your life. Its not all about these trucks we own. bobbymac
