My PCM is apparently shot. Ive gone to every single parts place in town and the chrysler dealership and have had absolutely no luck finding a re-manufactured one much less a new one. Just curious as to what my best path is. Cheapest route possible without being garbage.
No spray. Was cruising along and got on it a bit on the down side of a hill and valve let the head pop off and beat the piss out of everything. 130,xxx on the odometer and I haven't been easy on it. Glad it lasted this long but now its time for more!
Sweet! Now just to figure out this electrical issue with the SRT10... sell it hopefully to someone on here and get the dakota project under way! Like the old bumper sticker says... There is no replacement for displacement and that 7.2L decal will look nice in place of the 5.9:D
unplugged the harness and the electrical tape from the plug in to about 18 inches back was melted to the wires. think the heat could've made a week spot in the wires being its all right next to that second catalytic?
I will definitely do that. kinda wish I had all the wiring diagrams. haha. The little module on the passenger side with one loom in it, is that the ignition control module? three mounting holes and a rubber plug looking deal in the front of it. found it sitting up by the fire wall not bolted to...
Im about ready to pull the intake manifold off and check for a weak ignition coil. taking a sleep before hand. Any idea on the resistance the coils should have or ideas on anything else before I pull of that big chunk of aluminum off?
