We all been there done that I suppose every days my truck would die replaced two batteries the shop thought the interstate vendor gave them a batch of bad batteries but I narrowed it down to the aftermarket dome light bulb 9 bucks later you know how the story ends :)

Shorty I’m assuming you have not found someone to do that tuneup for you yet ? Get her done Pops she will smooth right out take a vacation and drive down to Miami I’ll do it for you for FREE man would not be worth the gas :D But it took me the better part of 2 hours to do the coils and wires...

Actually I beg to differ I had number 1 the wire itself broken I repaired to get by but it caused a small misfire on idle or stumble and it was never bad enough to throw a code I just got around to doing the wires and coils from Tony and all is fixed up idles and drives great

I had similar issue last year threw some sea foam and full tank of gas I swear to you joe it ran like a top since until my tps took a dump a couple weeks ago but it’s all fixed and up now also don’t neglect that air filter :) worth a shot bud

Back like I promised after paying $137.00 for tps and 94.00 for is iac valve from dealer the second I connected the tps and started the truck up the check engine light went off then call me crazy but the truck just runs and feels more responsive again it’s DD but even so I get on the gas and...

Sorry Guys im back went to lunch and it threw a code for the tps can someone anyone tell me how to install properly the guy at counter said something about preloading it or what not I didn’t do that I just lined it up with my left hand while moving tb spring until it lined up then I inserted...

Thanks for the help people and suggestions just wanted to everyone know it was the tps indeed..Members rbabody and trussman were right on anyways I changed it out earlier tonight and it’s back to normal :D

Worth a shot it’s getting worst so I will use my other vehicle don’t want to get stranded

I’m going to clean the iac valve if that helps any I’ll buy brand new following day the butterfly valves move smoothly and can’t find any vac leaks none of the rubber hoses are crimped ... Obviously no codes by the way forgot to throw that in first time thanks again members for the help ...
