There is a thread on the wheel lock's, I guess some of these trucks came with them from the dealer. I bought my truck second hand and low and behold.....no key. If the lug nut hasn't been off of the truck in a while, will hammering in a socket really work?

Has anyone purchased tires more recent than 2018? I have the original Pirelli's on the truck and I need a new set of something to get it passed inspection, and safer driving in the nicer weather. If there is another thread for this please excuse my noobness and kindly provide the link.
