Piston is pristine... Work had been completed some time ago apparently. This isn't why I pulled it apart, this is just some evidence of earlier problems.

Well guess what I found..? This motor has been apart before with damage to #2 cylinder, somehow. Look at the marks on the bottom of the cylinder head. Looks like something was chewed up pretty nasty. Of course, as referenced above.. None of this was disclosed.

The three on the collector, or the studs in the head? The three on the bottom MUST be soaked with a good penetrating oil for a couple of hours before you twist the tabs off of the back of the nuts. Then you can put a 17 mm open wrench on the square nuts to hold them while you loosen the bolts...
