Bump...have given up on bell tech and likely to get “new” stock leaf springs and retain McG shackles. Flip would be nice but perhaps too low for work at the ranch. Maybe then will look into finding adjustable rear shocks if such a thing exists (no ranchos)
Is there any other form or additional chassis bracing available for these trucks? Toyota gave their Tacoma an “x-brace” to improve handling and called it the xrunner.
Can’t seem to find the oem 6spd clutch and brake pedal covers anywhere. Have they been discontinued? Anyone know of a source?
Mine are well worn on all four corners and getting kind slippery when wet/muddy.
Would really like to hear more feedback on the Belltech drop leaves if anyone has experience. I feel like it would be easier to keep the springs above the axle to retain a 2-3” drop, and can supplement with airbags or timbrens for heavier loads. Also considering the Hellwig 2002 “traction...
That’s a nice looking setup! My hellwig rear bar works well but the install isn’t quite as clean. Swaybar mounts are on the axle tube itself (instead of shock mounts) and end links are mounted to brackets that mount above the frame. End links themselves are just long threaded bolts running...

also very cool...I was originally looking for ways to add a universal (Momo, etc) steering wheel and have give up CC/airbag but guess it isn’t necessary
Appreciate the input. Already have a Hellwig rear swaybar and the rear Fox shocks aren’t too old, but my original leafs have lived a tough life...over 350k of heavy loads and hard cornering. So this is where I likely need to start.
Have had McG’s drop shackles on my truck for the last 150k...
