A Golden Oldie

All quick and easy repairs.... don't ask me how I know

My Trophy!!!!

Check out the bend in the rim, it's amazing just how the wheel will come off when it can't spin any longer

Wow, didn't know about that one.

LOL i remember that video from few years back.

That is a true non-driving ass right there my friends.

new truck turned into a mess

It looks like the clown was trying to smoke the tires all the way down the track. it was never close to hooked up and he never lifted. I put my 64 falcon in the rail one time. Got out of the groove at half track. Right turn Clyde.

Something happened to the truck? Watch the video as he leaves the line. There are a shower of sparks coming from under the rear of the truck. Something break that caused a loss of control?

that is the dreaded Viper Truck snap around. ask me how i know:(:rock::D

No sparks. That is the reflection of the sun coming into view between the front and back tire. Comes back into view again when the truck is down the track.

when it happen to me in Blackie, took off in 1st WOT, grabbed 2nd WOT, the assend kicked to the left a bit, caught it, went to the right a bit & then just snapped around.
threw me to the passenger side, foot stuck on the go pedal.
hit the curb on the other side of the street & stopped bout 6 in. from a telephone pole.

broke the wheel & bent the axle.

felt like the rear end unlocked & dumped all the power to the right rear.

i really doubt if he could or had the time to let off before he hit

Yep, I guess my eyes were focused on just the rear portion of the truck in relation to frame size -- looking at the video from a fuller perspective, the reflection occurs as the truck is in motion -- damn shadows...
