Thanks to everyone for being here

Nice to see all the low numbered members still here, and still posting.

I met a lot of good friends because of my buying a truck and getting involved with the group.

The NFF had us so splintered it was really sad. Double digits of members of the NFF were getting banned every day it seamed like.

This has been a lot of fun and it is really about the people not the truck for a lot of us.

I do have 2 trucks neither of which run (the red truck might get going finally in a month or two) but the friendships I have made here are very lasting. The enduring relationships far outweigh the misery the POSs trucks have given me over the years. And I am sure once I get the red sled running and drive it all the bad memories will just fade away and I will have that big $#^t eating grin that always happens when I get behind the wheel and press the big red button. Yahoo :rock: :rock: :rock:

you know i remeber reading in motortrend or some magazine that they were going to build these trucks.
that must have been 03 or even 02...damn that was a long time ago...to think i actually bought one to!!! i read the article walked in to the room my wife was in and said, "when they makes these things im gonna buy one!!!"

then i ended up with a QC...i think maybe the end of next year i may get a 05-06 rc...i keep going back between a truck and a viper...or an old cadillac!!!!!

NFFF, hahaha.

Back in the day, E-Cock stopped me from being logged in. He didn't ban me, just cause my browser to lock up when I tried to sign in. LOL, it still freakin freezes when I try to get in now. :rock: :rock: :rock:

Well, I started a good thread. I all proud of myself now.

I joined the other SR10 forum back in Sep 08 when I first bought my current truck. Up until that point I had always just logged in a guest and did searches looking for the info I was looking for which was always a tech question. I noticed a lot of the people posting over there are completely knowledgeless stuck-up aholes. They only seemed to know what they are told about their truck as they have never worked on their own truck. For instance, a member would ask a question, and the responses seemed to always be "the dealer told me this", or "the dealer told me that". No real answers from "hands on" members who pop their own hoods.

THAT is why I love this site. So many of you really know your stuff, and it shows.
