Sometimes I hate living in Kansas....Had the truck barely a month and half and now its time to save up for an insurance deductible for hail damage! :argh:  :argh:

That sucks. How bad?

I cringe every time we have reports of "possible hail" since mine sits outside also.

That is bad . My truck in summer is parked outside , and one time last year I drove I to mall just so truck wouldn't be parked outside in hail ...

Mine hasn't been through a hail storm, but I live close to a golf course. I have a 4 pretty good-sized golf ball marks. Gonna' have to get those fixed.

I saw where a guy had thin eggcrate foam sewn on the inside of a car cover. The foam was 1/2" thick. Asked him how he did it, He told me he bought a cover that was one size large and took it to a local dry cleaner's and paid the woman 40$ to sew it in. He keeps it folded up under his bed cover. It didnt look great but it protected it. It wasnt for a 10, It was for a Rumble Bee truck.

My dad owns a GMC Syclone that he purchased the day they released. I remember as a kid one time it began to hail, and he made us put dirtbike helmets on and take blankets to throw over his truck...It was crazy lol!!!

Its not too many, but the ones I did find are pretty good dings. Happened at work, but i said to hell with the rules, and pulled it into the plant for the next two waves rolled through! I'll take the write up over getting my truck beat to shit!

What about the painless dent removal people. Try to see if they can get them out. I have had this done on various cars in the past, and you couldn't tell a ding was ever there.

Saw on Youtube how to take dents out with canned air and a blow dryer....

You could always get it painted Plum Crazy Purple :D

Plum Crazy, Black rims, NR headlights. I think it would look pretty cool.

I live in Augusta KS and was on the way to NE to visit my Dad when the storm hit. We were in my Wife's 07 Suburban just on the edge of the storm. The first few hail stones hit and I floored it. Wife was pissy but only got a few dents. I called my Son who stayed home and he went to the car lot and pulled in as many cars as he could. Lucky , the storm missed Eldorado so no damage there. I own a body shop in ElDorado, so if I can help let me know. Mitch

A few pics from the storm that just missed Stinkers place...lucky my truck was there... wife's car hit with golf ball stuff...1/2 mile away from my house was the baseball size stuff about 30 miles south of Tonys...........
