Billy Boat Exhaust Install Help

the only thing i can think of with out seeing it is to slide your exhaust all the way back on the hangers should allow the QC extensions to have a little play and maybe come out so that you can get the back on perfectly then slide everything forward. Thats what i had to do with mine....Just make sure you get some WD40 or little bushing grease on the exhaust hanger studs so you can move it around easy. Once you get the troubled section on you can get everything back tight....

I'm gonna try that Sunday since there calling for rain today and sat.
Thanks

Sparks which bushing are you using to support the muffler? the 2 holed ones?
The tail pipe section are you using the squared looking ones with 3 holes on both hangers?

I'll have to go and look...Give me a few and ill let you know!

Well I broke down and took it the exhaust shop this morn, I'm so disappointed I had to pay somebody else to do it but it's done. They had to do some tweaking to all the tail pipe hangers but it's on and straight. Than I had to take it to the dealer for the code P0171, which I had hoped the exhaust would fix, it didn't. Now besides the code I think it's bogging down and my mpg went from 10.5 to 7.4. So we will see how bad this gonna be...

Tweak, I have a BB full system on a RC and my headers didn't line up on the block without wedging some primaries into place and my steering flange hit one of the primaries and the exhaust tips do not line up with the bumper cut out. I fixed all of that except the off center tips.

And I have off center tips as well....I'm just waiting for my magna-flow to blow which then I'll get a new cat-back and make adjustments for that cayback if it still doesn't line up right

I'm more than happy with how the shop got it looking they really went beyond my expectations. I got the truck back this afternoon fixed woo woo....
As far as headers go, I'm so disgusted with the whole B&B bolt on system that when I order my headers I will probably drive to Ton y's to put them on haha...:aetsch:
