I'm here at Brook in San Antonio. This place gives new meaining to the phrase "the hospital is no place for a sick person". Man, I hate seeing all these boys tore up like this:(

Good news is, I'll be able to get out this weekend and see my family... and my truck:D Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. I'm in good hands here.

I am doing good bud...I was looking at getting into a truck again but decided to do the grown up thing first and fix up the house...:D

No way I'll be able to make it to PCB. They don't even know what's wrong with me yet... they won't let me take leave.:slug:
 
Update:

I had a kidney biopsy done, and showed I have IGA nephropathy:confused:... kidney disease. Aparently, it's fairly common, but there really isn't much for treatment. Basically just slow it down so I can have as much time as possible before I have to start dialysis. I'll be going through a MEB- medical evaluation board, and they'll probably be kicking my ass out of the army. Good times:(
 
That sucks dude. Seems like the turds that don't perform always find a way of staying in the military while a lot of the good ones that want to stay don't have a choice. I see it all the time here.
 
Damn Brad, that sucks. Can it be related some how, to something that were exposed to while on one of your tours?
 
No diabetes here. I have high BP, but they say it's a symptom of the disease. From everything I've read on IGA, it just happens:dontknow:

Sorry to hear the news, now move to Phoenix and become a Poolguy. Just another obstacle in the path we call life, adapt and move on. You dont strike me as somebody that quits easy, hope everything works out.
