Any ideas on a cheap and non HP robbing way to tone down the exhaust a bit? Right now its JMB offroad pipes from manifolds... and into a Magnaflow Cat-Back... I dont really wanna spend a ton of $$ on cats, but i do want to soften the drone a bit... maybe some dynomax bullets or something like that pre-cat back? What do you guys think? Any experience in the area? Thanks...

I have the hi-flow cats on mine, and it's pretty quiet till you get on it.

Belanger LT headers, the hi-flow cats, and magnaflow...

I just had the Dynomax 17553 Ultra-Flo X Stainless Steel Muffler put on my truck. I'm liking it. It has a built X pipe internal to the muffler. Keep in mind this is on a stock exhaust (minus rear cats). Just the muffler was replaced. Muffler costs about $110 and my local muffler shop put it in for $40. A little louder than stock and no drone in the cab.

Thanks. The one I have claims to be fully welded stainless steel. Lets hope it holds up.

Bellanger long tubes, hfc, magnaflow cat back. Geodriller, do you think my truck will need quieting down? I'm hoping the long tubes will make it a little more aggressive and the hfc and torrie tune tame the popping on decel. Guess ill see next weekend.
