So, I had a big day today. Was able to "retire" some old tires from my Hemi Ram. Video below. Then tonight, on my way home from my sisters, I hit a damn coyote! It dented and cracked my bumper. I do have full coverage on her but, because I am a broke single father, my dumb ass has $1000 deductible on it! I will try to post pics tomorrow after a wedding I have to go to. Any suggestions? Replace? Repair? I am sick and pissed right now....my own damn fault for having a deductible I would never be able to afford.

Damn Kyle, post up pics and I can send you to a friend from the lx club, he works at a high end shop and can probably fix it after hours.

sucks about the front end tho. good luck, exactly how bad is it? an ins claim might shoot your premiums up. dont know but it should be "Comp."
 
It's pretty bad,,,,,dent about the size of a softball along with a crack half way across the lower air damn above the break ducts inlet. I will be posting pics tomorrow. I was hoping to avoid insurance completely.
 
just consulted the wifey (she does Ins.). it will be comp, so your premiums will not go up, and it will proly cost more than your deduct to fix. but if you keep ins out of it, your truck will not show front end collision if someone decides to run a carfax.

I bought a new front bumper cover from dragon a while back and had a local body shop spray it and throw it on. Definitely didn't cost more than 1000. I'd have to do some digging to find out exactly what it cost me.

Sorry you hit that sucker. :( I hope you can get that bad boy repaired cheaper. In the meantime, I would see about pushing the dent out from the other side just to see how bad it looked after. You might buy yourself time to afford the repairs sir. ;)
 
The 06 bumpers are crazy expensive.... Over a grand... Unpainted... The 04-05's are like $300... I would push that dent through to see how much it goes back into place... Still might be a better deal to work it out than replace it...
