I really wasnt trying to push any buttons. Just a little internet warrior bashing away. LOL. I hope I havent offended anyone with my 5 post. This isnt my first time to be a newb on a forum.

HPP just did a 4.6l Hellion Kit with a Precision Billet wheel 76mm. It made over 900. They are confident it will make 1000 rwhp if the RC75lb injectors can keep up. Maybe I'll swap to those.

I just want to build a truck to make 1300-1500 rwhp and have usable power to 1000 rear wheel on the street.

But yes, the pockets are deep enough.:rock:

Also, I need a camshaft recommendation.

I want it to make good power N/A. The valvetrain is good to 9k RPM but Im only pulling to 6k with the stock bumpstick.

I will replace it when I build the motor and turbo this summer to a more Turbo friendly grind. But now I would like more N/A power.

I saw the cam recommendation thread, but its pretty cluttered right now.:p Help a ninja out.

Cracker, you cant take the v-10 to 9000rpms bo, 6500rpms is about the most you want to go, and you will spend a ton , making it that reliable for those rpms;)

stick with 6200rpms, power usually drops off around 5800 anyway

I know. Im just saying, I built the valvetrain with strength and longevity in mind. Even after tuning, power falls off at 5900-6000 or so.
 
What ever happened to this guy. Did yall scare him off, or did he go boom? Maybe he put that camshaft and spun it to 9k rpm then just mysteriously disappeared into a black hole. Maybe his turbo didnt fit well with the American Racing Stainless Longtube Headers and Off Road Midpipe.

Guess the pockets were maybe NOT deep enough?
 
I thought these trucks were rated at 500hp from the factory ????

Youve got a few mods and your only kicking out 485???
