I went up to sturgis for the mustang rally and used the portable dyno. I put down 393whp/424wtq on a dynojet. It was 75 degrees out and 15%humidity.

that is very scetchy.
if you want to add some hp/tq, i suggest a tune. you will feel a good diff in tq, they do wonders for qc

Yes, especially if it's stock. They are all lean through the middle and pig rich on top.
A plug in tune will also be under 11:1 in the upper RPM's untill you dial it in.
Big benefit through the middle with enrichment.
Definately power to be had here.

currently it is the stock tune, thats what he means, it is running rich with the stock tune.
it will straighten out if you get a good performance tune. it will be a good gain/$$ for your QC
proly best overall bang for buck with QC's is a good tune

when i got my 05 i found out a couple weeks later that te previous owner was a buddy of mine. he was my mechanic on my crotchrocket, and a good one at that.
but he recognised his old truck immediatly. told me he had a flashed pcm for it that he got from DCPerformance. he bought a OEM PCM from the dealership at like $700, then tuned it for $250. he sold it to me for $250. there is no way i could have gotten more bang/buck than that. it was night and difference with the tune.

How many pulls did you do on the dyno? I took mine 2 weeks ago to see what my baseline was (mine was stock except for cold air intake) and on the third pull it put down its max hp. Pulls 1 and 4 were under 400hp, but pulls 2 and 3 were 400 and 403 IIRC. Apparently on the QC they pull a little harder, at least on the dyno, when the engine is warmed up. I ran mine on a dynojet as well. Just a week ago I got the Roe Racing 93 octane SCT tune and responsiveness is definitely noticeable. Hopefully soon I'll get it back on the dyno and see what it gained.

Whomever owned my truck before me installed the K&N CAI, so it had that when I got it. Only thing I've done is add the Roe Racing SCT tune and overhaul the entire stereo and add HID headlights/fogs.
