Good luck, but I gotta say you're not likely to get anywhere near that in todays market. I know someone that just picked up an 06 Electra Glide with 2500 on the clock for under $8k.

Hell the Screamin' Eagle 6 speed I put in there cost half of the price he bought that whole bike for without labor! I honestly know man, but I ain't givin her ass away. I'd keep her or part her out first. It would have to be someone interested in keeping alot of chrome clean!:D Someone who knows how much is invested and doesn't want to do all the work involved to make a bike look like jewelry and ride like a beast. I know they are far and few between. There are always posers with deep pockets looking for a bought not built bike they can show off. To me it was more the happiness pulling jugs or replacing a wrinkle black piece with a triple chrome plated piece. Just does things mentally for me and keeps me outta trouble.;)

 I used to be able to get ahold of the Police Street Glides for about that price with little miles on em' now that I think about it. But of course they are no Fatboy and have no chrome. Like I said it's more of someone's personal preference as to whether they want a shower/goer/ or a mix of both.

Yeah, they've dropped in value for sure. I know another guy that was able to pick up an 06 Street Bob with about 10k miles for 6 grand. Then there is this bike that a friend is selling for 9k, would have been worth a lot more a few years back.

I really do hope you find someone that is willing to pay you what you want. I like the fact that you're not willing to give it away, that's the problem right now, too many people will.

It is a pretty bike, that's for sure. I hate chrome myself though, I'd much rather ride than polish hehehe.

Beautiful bike....I'm about in the same boat with mine...got about 35K invested, won't be able to touch that if I ever sell it. But it was fun trickin it out....still have some to do but I started spending money on my 10 :D :D :D
Good luck with the sale....I'll let people know and watch the thread...to me that's a great price for what's been done.

How come you were letting it go?

Letting go to fund other ventures! I have hopped on her about 3 times in the past year and half! I honestly spent more time tricking her out and polishing her triple plated parts ;) than I did putting miles on her. I went to more bike rallies than anything. She was like a woman and a wet t-shirt contest, wanting to be in every bike show and taking many trophies. Pretty much my nature except for my beloved Trans Ams, build them and sell them and never make a profit! It's more the fun and memories of busted knuckles, blood, seat and smiles that fuel me to engage in modding a vehicle. I've had 5 years and 7500 miles of awesome Fatboy gliding and loved every minute of it. I can always build again. That previous statement has ignited my passion of customizing anything for many years.:D
