Has any one tried a tune like this?

I will be taking my truck to the body shop and I don't want the guys in the shop to be hauling ass on my truck. I got a tune from Torrie with a rev limit of 3000. I have not installed it. But I was wondering if anyone has tried a tune like this.

Yup, I had it in there for my wife because she was afraid of having full power, but she would forget to shift and it ended up just pudding her off
 
A couple of years ago I had the body shop touch up my bumper and when I went to pick up my truck I saw some tire marks in front of his shop. He told me he did them with his charger srt8. But I dont think it was his car that did them. So I will wait and see if he mentions anything about the rev limit.
 
if i suspected that i just wouldnt even take my car/truck there. Seem like you are going through a lot of work to avoid someone that is supposed to be fixing your car from beating on your car

when I dropped off my viper or truck, i told the guys if someone wants to drive it let me know. It didnt bother me. if its a quick tune, it might be worth it.

I usually beat on my cars more than anyone could...

You never know there's always some one that will beat on your truck harder than you.
 
I installed my valet tune at 3000 rpm. I like it, it's just enough for regular driving and if you try to floor it and get some power the PCM cuts the gas.
