1st 1/4 Mile

You didn't say what track you were at. If you were in the Grand Junction area and had that bad of a 60' your ET isn't too awfull bad. First time in my truck at the track was a 14.5 100% stock. Any mods on your truck? To get into the 12's will probably take another 100+ horsepower out on the western slope.

i got 95k on my original clutch... that's pulling a trailer, track days, highways goofin' off...

only reason i put the new one in was because the slave went out... so while it was all apart, i went ahead and did it... i had all the parts...

and technically, there was probably another 10k or better on the clutch left... about 1/8" or 3/32" of material from the rivets to the clutch material left... if that makes sense...

I think Dan got 95k miles abs several hundred passes out of his ;)
My used Centerforce has 20k miles and about 100 passes and highway pulls;)
If you smell clutch, you're doing it wrong, lol.

No clutch smell yet :). But I am a little nervous about using the clutch to moderate wheel spin. Any tips for doing so?

I am in Grand Junction. My truck is a RC with headers, full exhaust, cai, and a strong tune. With practice, and a good launch, I am hoping to run a mid 13 up here. After that a good shot of NO2 will be my next step towards 12's. Fortunately, horsepower is easy to buy, especially for our trucks.

It's cool to hear that someone else local has raced their truck. Is yours a RC or QC?

about 3500rpm and feather the clutch...
