There's a shop having a dyne day tomorrow,(if at least ten cars/trucks show up) I am planning on going. My question is what kind of numbers should I see out of a stock 06 RC, it has a Magnaflow muffler, and no rear cats, other then that, it is factory. Just curious of a number to have in mind, I don't want to get up there, and be super disappointed expecting a big number. Thanks

Depends on the kind of Dyno.
Mine was around 425/475. I gave my dyno sheet to the new owner. Don't have it to look at.

I found an old thread of mine.
427hp/467tq is what mine did. Some have been higher, some lower. :dontknow:

I need to put mine on a dyno after the cam is install. My 10 has never been on a dyno. Good luck.

My 06 was really low...387/410. Rottenronnie spent some quality time with my truck, spec'd a striker cam and the end results were 472/509.:rock:

My 06 dyno'd very well. I was extremely pleased. Mine laid down 460/495. The only mods I had were modified air-box, no-cats and bullet exhaust. It didn't even have a tune either. I think I lucked out and got ahold of factory freak!

Wow, wide range on results. Old colt, yours was that big of a difference on a cam swap? I didn't get to make it. Some things came up at work, a lot of premadonnas there. I don't mind picking up slack, but when my guys dont even show up, damn! That's a whole bother story I suppose lol. I hope to get here on the dyne in the next couple of weeks, find a starting number, and see where I can get her too. Thanks for the input, I'm pretty excited to see what she will put down. I will post it up when I get a chance to get it done.

You can expect 8-10hp with a cam swap. There was another issue that ronnie worked out.:)

Mine bone stock, 06 rc nightrunner pulled 396/415 in 94 degree full sun at the GM car show they were hosting at the factory where my dad works, I challenged the new cts-v the engineers were showing off he pulled 413/386 and that's supposeta be 556 horsepower so I dunno where I stand?!?!?:burnout:
