I agree... 30-30 is a great cartridge... :rock: I like the stock design. Keeps the scope low to the bore, and the stock drops down to get a good sight-line. Lever-actions are awesome for darn near anything (varmint, big game, intruders).
among my many guns ,,i have a 10 gauge double barrel shot gun my father in law ,left to me when he passed 5 years ago ,,he used it for duck hunting ,,with oo buck shot in it thing kicks like a mule and will stop a pissed off gorilla running at you !

dad had a 10 gauge. all i remember is it sounded like a canon & would make him step back. & he was a big man.

The world is not going to end in 2012... the mayan's ran out of numbers so they just stopped instead of making a new number to keep going
Either way my Remington 870, smith and Wesson 5906, and ABA level III A bullet proof vest will be hot and ready to go and when the hippies decide to raid my house they aren't getting to my wife and son without going through me. The III A vest will take a .30 m2 armor piercing round at 2880fps and 7.62 x 25 tokarov round wont go through it so im good unless they shoot me in the face :argh:
